Welcome back to the gossip column.
Its been a few weeks since I put the last column out. A lot has been happening with solid orders and inquiry coming in from around the country and in particular Australia and America. Deborah and I would like to sincerely thank our existing and new customers that have supported Clothing Solutions during the Canterbury earthquakes. It has been difficult times and your support has made all the difference in continuing to build a stronger business.
We have finally had our vehicle released from the Christchurch earthquake red-zone which has meant we were able to recover our display garments. Accordingly we are now able to take further bookings for displays and personal consultations. If you would like to inquire about a display, please contact our manager Deborah Leath.
With winter on our doorstep, our wheelchair rain capes are proving very popular. The rain cape represents excellent value for money and will keep you warm and dry when out and about. We can custom design this garment to meet any need such as different shaped chairs or other special requirements.
Our men’s nightshirts are also proving very popular. These provide for a warm and cozy nights sleep during those colder nights.
On the family front, the school holidays were a good opportunity to get away from the constant earthquakes that we have been having. Although the quakes now seem to be part of life in Canterbury, they are becoming rather tedious.
Myself, William and our Swiss student Leo were able to get over to the West Coast on a couple of occasions. Leo caught some fish which was a new experience for him. He is thoroughly enjoying the outdoor lifestyle that New Zealand has to offer and has found a new interest in fishing.
Angus and Amelia have settled back into their boarding schools in Christchurch however are now living with very different surroundings following the earthquakes.
Until next time……………
Morgan Leath
